The local government watchdog The Audit Commission has rated Shropshire Council a "four star" council, that is "improving strongly" - for the second year running. This is the highest rating possible, achieved by Shropshire Council and only 9 other councils in the UK. But we won’t stop there. We have eight bases across the county, and are a major provider of work-based training for school leavers and for adults, either returning to work or retraining for the job market. County Training can offer a comprehensive training service to industry, commerce and the public sector, advising on training solutions, delivery and evaluation of training programmes. With over 175 experienced and well-resourced staff we are committed to ensuring that you receive a high quality service. We have considerable expertise in working with Learning Skills Councils, Jobcentre Plus, Business Link and Connexions.
